The Institute has also complied with the judgments and appraisals of courts of justice regarding fires and the like.
The National Research Institute of Fire and Disaster publishes the Report of National Research Institute of Fire and Disaster of Japan (twice a year), the Shoken-Syuhou (journal, once a year), the Technical Memorandum of National Research Institute of Fire and Disaster (from time to time), the Annual Report (once a year).
The Institute also publicly announces the results of its research The Institute accepts research students from fire protection organs, trainees from universities, as well as researchers from foreign research institutes.
