Symposium Location
 

        Symposiumlocation is about 15 km west of Shinjuku. Situated in the south of theMusashino Plateau, there is a rich natural bounty which includes the woodsaround Jindaiji Temple that preserve the atmosphere of medieval Musashinoto the north and the gently flowing Tama River to the south.

How to get to NRIFD:
1) From Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station:
        Take the JRChuo Line (orange colorred body) for Tachikawa / Takao. Get off at eitherKichijoji or Mitaka. Approximately 35 minutes from Tokyo to Kichijoji orMitaka. Approximately 20 minutes from Shinjuku.(Note: Rapid trains stopat both stations, while express trains do not stop at Kichijoji.)

2) From Kichijoji Station:
        From PlatformNo. 6 at the south exit of Kichijoji Station, take the Odakyu Bus to JindaijiTemple, Nogaya or Chofu Station and alignt at Shobo Daigaku Mae (the Fireand Disaster Management College) bus stop. Approximately 20 minutes.

3) From Mitaka Station:
From Platform No. 2 at the south exit of Mitaka Station,take the Odakyu Bus to Nogaya and alight at Shobo Daigaku Mae (the Fireand Disaster Management College) bus stop. Approximately 20 minutes.
